Today I will be teaching you how to make super easy and delicious homemade macaroni and cheese.
This is what you will need:
6 cups water
2 cups of macaroni
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 cups shredded cheese
To start, bring a large pot of slightly salted water to a boil, add your macaroni to the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked all the way through but firm to the bite, about 8 minutes, drain.
Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat stir in flour and salt until smooth, about 5 minutes. Add milk slowly to butter-flour mixture while continually stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbling (make sure not to burn the milk by continually stirring) add cheese, preferably cheddar to the mixture and stir till melted, about 3 minutes.
Fold macaroni into cheese mixture till coated.
Adding about 1 more cup of cheese in my opinion makes the macaroni taste well, more cheesy and I preferably like it that way and think it tastes great!
